The specific purposes to effect the mission statement along with the charitable activities are to:

1. Undertake all nonprofit activities that support and promote the purposes of this organisation, such as delivering, sponsoring, constructing, cultivating and organizing programs directly related to

• A monastic lineage comprised of monks of the exalted Vedanta tradition, complete with the canon, contemplative tradition and a theological library from unbroken lineages (circa 500 B.C.) of the Adi-Shankaracharya order;
  
• The ancient Sanskrit scriptures of the Veda along with its associated branches, and the lineages that cultivate Vedic knowledge, including the esoteric branches of Sanskrit literature;
  
• The interpretation, translation and publication of rare Sanskrit manuscripts/texts that are not yet available in other languages, such as English;
  
• The Sanskrit oral recitation and intonation techniques, especially those that are more than 5,000 years old;
  
• Sacred ritual methods, including Vedic fire ceremonies, worship techniques and procedures of ceremonial oblations;
  
• Sciences of the Vedic temple tradition, such as architecture and artifacts, which have been in continuous practice since 3138 B.C.;
  
• A fully consecrated Vedic temple or an altar of prayer for Vedic worship, including the Vedic priestly lineages.

2. Teach, preach and promulgate spiritual practices and esoteric sciences to be known as that of Self Enquiry Life Fellowship. The organisation will nurture and guide servers, seekers and devotees toward service, knowledge and devotion; to bring about the direct experience of God; and to effect physical, mental and spiritual development, the practical means of which include

• The original tradition of initiation and practice of the ancient Kriya-yoga meditation techniques that include the cultivation and visualization of vital forces (life energy currents), the method and practice of which were revived in 1868 by a well-known lineage of masters;
  
• The mystical and practical ways/instruction of the Himalayan yoga lineages that employ unique methods of inquiry into the Divine Consciousness, which are verifiable by the pedagogical references in Sanskrit texts;
  
• Vedic methods of self-enquiry based on the teachings of the Vedanta tradition that include listening, reflecting and meditating on the original statements of truth as expounded by the Sanskrit scriptures of the Upanishads.
