The covenant of Self Enquiry Life Fellowship is embellished with extraordinary monastic guidance from renowned monks of the ancient Vedanta tradition. Meditation practices relevant to the needs of modern day servers, seekers and devotees are made available through the mystical teachings of the Himalayan Yoga tradition.
Among the repertoire of actively connected monks, most are available mainly in India. Swami Sharadananda Giri, one of India’s great Sanskrit adepts offers his services from the ancient cities of Prayag and Varanasi. Swami Atmananda Giri, a yogi monk, resides reclusively in Varanasi. Swami Narasimha Tirtha primarily offers his mystical knowledge at the source of the holy Ganga in the Himalayan Mountains. Swami Narmadananda Giri delivers from his austere monastic abode in Amarkantak at the source of holy Narmada. Swami Amalananda Giri discharges his duties from his ashram in Haridwar.
The President monk of our nonprofit, Swami Vidyadhishananda Giri is available mostly in the U.S.A. outside of his Himalayan ventures. If you would like to visit Swami Vidyadhishananda when he is stationed in his United States home base of Santa Barbara, please prearrange your trip by contacting us ahead of time, in order to avoid scheduling difficulties and to arrange hotels or other lodging.
Swami Vidyadhishananda resides reclusively in the same house where he first met with and got initiated by his Master, Paramahamsa Swami Hariharananda. By the grace of God and Guru, Swami Vidyadhishananda was able to move into the same place where he was endowed with a special spiritual calling from his mentor. Although this home is an austere monastic dwelling, he receives and teaches visiting servers, seekers and devotees. Tucked in the foothills overlooking the sea, the ambiance is of deep silence with a peaceful abundance of nature. We welcome you to come and receive masterly spiritual guidance.
